North Carolina High School Soccer - Lumberton knocks off St. Pauls

Lumberton Pirates (Lumberton, NC) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting St. Pauls Bulldogs (St. Pauls, NC), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Pirates confront the South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC) in a United Eight 3A/4A challenge, on Tuesday, March 21. Lumberton will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 9-0 league win over Douglas Byrd (Fayetteville, NC).
The Bulldogs now have a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Heide Trask for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 23. St. Pauls will confront a Titans team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over White Oak (Jacksonville, NC). The Titans record now stands at 6-1.
