Lone Peak Knights (Highland, UT) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Bingham Miners (South Jordan, UT), 8-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Lone Peak upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Knights host Copper Hills (West Jordan, UT) to battle the Grizzlies in a non-league test on Thursday, March 30. The Grizzlies come into the test with a record of 2-1.
With the defeat, Bingham falls to 0-1 on the season. The Miners host Skyridge (Lehi, UT) to battle the Falcons in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 4. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 1-0.
