The South Mecklenburg Sabres baseball team (Charlotte, NC), 11-8 in Tuesday's non-league outing with the visiting Charlotte Catholic Cougars (Charlotte, NC)

The Cougars now hold a 13-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carmel Christian for a non-league outing on Monday, May 1. Charlotte Catholic will face a Cougars team coming off a 8-4 non-league loss to Metrolina Christian Academy (Indian Trail, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 4-6.
