California High School Baseball - Del Mar loses to Santa Clara

The Del Mar Dons baseball team (San Jose, CA), was overwhelmed 17-0 in Saturday's non-league outing with the host Santa Clara Bruins (Santa Clara, CA)

The Bruins now hold a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Los Altos for a outing on Wednesday, March 22. Santa Clara will confront a Eagles team coming off a 9-5 non-league win over Sacred Heart Prep (Atherton, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-0.

Next, the Dons confront the Fremont Firebirds (Sunnyvale, CA) in a non-league outing, on Monday, March 20. Del Mar will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Firebirds go into the outing with a 1-0 record after their 18-10 league win over Monta Vista (Cupertino, CA).
