The Asheville Cougars lacrosse team scored 8 points and limited the visiting Asheville School (Independent) Blues to 3 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Cougars (3-2) will now prepare for their game against St. Stephens (Hickory, NC). The Indians enter the NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, St. Stephens was overwhelmed by North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC), 11-10, in a league game.
The Blues (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Christ Church Episcopal (Greenville, SC). The Cavaliers enter the non-league game with a 8-1 record. In their last game, Christ Church Episcopal edged Dorman (Roebuck, SC), 20-7, in a non-league game.
