Avon Eagles (Avon, OH) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH), 15-1 in a non-league test.

The Eagles now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Olmsted Falls for a Region 1 test on Tuesday, March 21. Avon will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 16-8 non-league win over Shaker Heights (Shaker Heights, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Cardinal Mooney Cardinals (Youngstown, OH) in a non-league test, on Monday, March 20. Boardman will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Cardinals come into the test with a 1-0 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Highland (Medina, OH).
