The John Marshall Monarchs (Glen Dale, WV) lacrosse tipped the host Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers (Buckhannon, WV), 12-11 in Saturday's league outing.
With the win, John Marshall upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Monarchs host Morgantown (Morgantown, WV) to encounter the Mohigans in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 21. The Mohigans enter the game with a record of 2-0. Morgantown won 15-2 in their recent non-league game against Hedgesville (Hedgesville, WV)
The Buccaneers (0-2) will now prepare for their game against St. Albans (St. Albans, WV). The Red Dragons enter the WVSLA -DII West game with a 0-0 record.
