In Saturday's league test, the host Westlake Demons lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-7 victory over the Copley Indians.
The Demons now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Strongsville for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 21.
In their next game, the Indians face the Padua Franciscan Bruins (Parma, OH) in a Region 5 test, on Tuesday, March 21. Copley will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
