The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Hammond Skyhawks (Columbia, SC) and the visiting Fort Mill Yellow Jackets (Fort Mill, SC), saw Hammond's lacrosse team achieve victory over Fort Mill by a margin of 14-8.
The Skyhawks (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Lakeside (Evans, GA). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, Lakeside edged Heathwood Hall Episcopal (Columbia, SC), 8-7, in a non-league challenge.
The Yellow Jackets (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC). The Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Ardrey Kell edged Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC), 23-4, in a non-league challenge.
