West Virginia High School Lacrosse - Jefferson County drops to Wheeling Park

In Saturday's non-league contest, the Wheeling Park Patriots (Wheeling, WV) lacrosse squad routed the visiting Jefferson County Wild (Shenandoah Junction, WV), by a count of 12-3.

Coming up next, the Patriots confront the Linsly Cadets (Wheeling, WV) in a WVSLA -DI West contest, on Thursday, March 23. Wheeling Park will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Cadets come into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 12-2 league loss to John Glenn (New Concord, OH).

The Wild now own a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wheeling Central Catholic for a non-league contest on Saturday, March 18. Jefferson County will confront a Maroon Knights squad coming off a 10-8 non-league win over Greensburg Central Catholic (Greensburg, PA). The Maroon Knights record now stands at 1-0.
