New Mexico High School Softball - Volcano Vista bounces Albuquerque

The Volcano Vista Hawks the visiting Albuquerque Bulldogs softball squad by a final score of 9-5 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Hawks (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM). The Bears go into the non-league battle with a 7-1 record. In their last battle, La Cueva held off Cibola (Albuquerque, NM), 4-2, in a non-league battle.

The Bulldogs now possess a 9-4 record. They play next when they host West Mesa for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 21. Albuquerque will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-6.
