In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Union County Yellowjackets softball team scored a close 11-5 win over the Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers.

Coming up next, the Yellowjackets battle the Chester Cyclones (Chester, SC) in a AAA Region 4 outing, on Tuesday, March 21. Union County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-0 season record. The Cyclones enter the outing with a 1-5 record after their 16-1 non-league loss to Lewisville (Richburg, SC).

The Fighting Tigers (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Broome (Spartanburg, SC). The Centurions enter the AAA Region 3 outing with a 1-5 record. In their last outing, Broome was routed by Chapman (Inman, SC), 21-1, in a league outing.
