In Saturday's non-league contest, the Summerville Green Wave (Summerville, SC) softball team held off the host Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC), by a margin of 1-0.
With the triumph, Summerville moves its record to 7-1 on the year. The Green Wave travel to James F. Byrnes (Duncan, SC) to play the Rebels in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 18. The Rebels come into the contest with a record of 4-0. James F. Byrnes won 13-0 in their recent league contest against Gaffney (Gaffney, SC)
In their next game, the Copperheads play the Seneca Bobcats (Seneca, SC) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, March 18. Catawba Ridge will attempt to move on its 9-2 season record.
