The Orting Cardinals the visiting Clarkston Bantams softball squad by a count of 11-9 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Cardinals (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against White River (Buckley, WA). The Hornets go into the 2A South Puget Sound battle with a 0-0 record.

The Bantams now sport a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Prosser for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 18. Clarkston will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 18-5 non-league win over Wapato (Wapato, WA). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-0.
