In Saturday's non-league contest, the Minden Crimson Tide (Minden, LA) softball team held off the visiting Converse Wildcats (Converse, LA), by a margin of 8-7.
With the triumph, Minden moves its record to 10-9 on the year. The Crimson Tide host Ruston (Ruston, LA) to play the Bearcats in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 18. The Bearcats come into the contest with a record of 2-10. Ruston won 21-2 in their recent non-league contest against North Caddo (Vivian, LA)
In their next game, the Wildcats play the Plainview Hornets (Glenmora, LA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, March 21. Converse will attempt to move on its 11-3 season record.
