The Dale County Warriors (Midland City, AL) softball nipped the host Scottsboro Wildcats (Scottsboro, AL), 5-4 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Warriors (2-4) will now prepare for their bout against Central (Phenix City, AL). The Red Devils go into the non-league bout with a 11-3 record. In their last bout, Central held off Opelika (Opelika, AL), 12-1, in a league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 13-5 record. They play next when they travel to Hazel Green for a non-league bout on Monday, March 20. Scottsboro will confront a Trojans squad coming off a 2-2 non-league Jasper (Jasper, AL). The Trojans record now stands at 7-5.
