California High School Softball - Faith Baptist nudges Northridge Academy

March 18, 2023: Northridge, CA 91325

Faith Baptist Contenders (Canoga Park, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Northridge Academy Pumas (Northridge, CA), 6-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Contenders now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Garfield for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 18. Faith Baptist will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 16-2 league win over Bell (Bell, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, Northridge Academy falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Pumas travel to Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences (Granada Hills, CA) to battle the Vipers in a Valley challenge on Monday, March 20. The Vipers enter the challenge with a record of 2-0. Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences won 13-11 in their recent non-league challenge against Sun Valley Magnet (Sun Valley, CA)
