Nevada High School Softball - Sparks thwarted by Fernley

The Sparks Railroaders softball team (Sparks, NV), was routed 11-1 in Saturday's non-league test with the host Fernley Vaqueros (Fernley, NV)

Coming up next, the Vaqueros encounter the North Valleys Panthers (Reno, NV) in a non-league test, on Friday, March 24. Fernley will attempt to improve on its 7-2 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 2-1 record after their 13-6 non-league win over Churchill County (Fallon, NV).

The Railroaders (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Elko (Elko, NV). The Indians come into the 3A North - East test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Elko overcame South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA), 15-0, in a league test.
