Pope John Paul II Jaguars (Slidell, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Maurepas Wolves (Maurepas, LA), 16-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Jaguars now own a 11-3 record. They take the field next when they host French Settlement for a 2A District 10 challenge on Tuesday, March 21.
With the loss, Maurepas falls to 3-10 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Port Allen (Port Allen, LA) to battle the Pelicans in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 23. The Pelicans enter the challenge with a record of 3-9.
