The Ruston Bearcats softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Minden Crimson Tide to 4 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Ruston moves its record to 3-11 on the year. The Bearcats host West Monroe (West Monroe, LA) to clash with the Rebels in a 5A District 2 game on Tuesday, March 21. The Rebels come into the game with a record of 15-6. West Monroe won 28-4 in their recent non-league game against Benton (Benton, LA)

In their next game, the Crimson Tide clash with the Bossier Bearkats (Bossier City, LA) in a 4A District 1 game, on Monday, March 20. Minden will attempt to move on its 10-9 season record.
