In Saturday's non-league contest, the Paramount Pirates (Paramount, CA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Montebello Oilers (Montebello, CA), by a margin of 13-3.

With the triumph, Paramount moves its record to 3-7 on the year. The Pirates travel to Dominguez (Compton, CA) to play the Dons in a San Gabriel Valley contest on Tuesday, March 21. The Dons come into the contest with a record of 0-2. Dominguez lost 20-17 in their recent non-league contest against Compton Early College (Compton, CA)

In their next game, the Oilers play the Alhambra Moors (Alhambra, CA) in a Almont contest, on Monday, March 20. Montebello will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record.
