The Northeast Lauderdale Trojans softball team (Meridian, MS), was routed 10-6 in Saturday's non-league test with the visiting Morton Panthers (Morton, MS)

Coming up next, the Panthers encounter the Southeast Lauderdale Tigers (Meridian, MS) in a 3A Region 5 test, on Tuesday, March 21. Morton will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record. The Tigers enter the test with a 0-1 record after their 15-0 non-league loss to West Lauderdale (Collinsville, MS).

The Trojans (0-5) will now prepare for their test against Choctaw Central (Philadelphia, MS). The Warriors enter the 4A Region 4 test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, Choctaw Central was routed by Greene County (Leakesville, MS), 7-6, in a non-league test.
