Providence Hall Patriots (Herriman, UT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Northridge Knights (Layton, UT), 12-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dixie for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 18. Providence Hall will battle a Flyers squad coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to Green Canyon (North Logan, UT). The Flyers record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Northridge falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Ridgeline (Millville, UT) to battle the Riverhawks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 21. The Riverhawks enter the challenge with a record of 4-1. Ridgeline won 11-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Bingham (South Jordan, UT)
