California High School Softball - Thousand Oaks holds off Viewpoint

Thousand Oaks Lancers (Thousand Oaks, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Viewpoint Patriots (Calabasas, CA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Lancers now own a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dos Pueblos for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 18. Thousand Oaks will battle a Chargers squad coming off a 6-1 league win over San Marcos (Santa Barbara, CA). The Chargers record now stands at 7-3.

With the loss, Viewpoint falls to 6-5 on the season. The Patriots travel to Hart (Newhall, CA) to face the Indians in a non-league match on Saturday, March 18. The Indians go into the match with a record of 7-3. Hart won 22-1 in their recent league match against Castaic (Castaic, CA)
