Alabama High School Softball - West Limestone bounces Waterloo

The West Limestone Wildcats routed the host Waterloo Cougars softball squad by a count of 8-1 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Wildcats (11-2) will now prepare for their battle against Westminster Christian (Huntsville, AL). The Wildcats go into the 4A Area 13 battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Westminster Christian was routed by Lincoln County (Fayetteville, TN), 5-0, in a non-league battle.

The Cougars now sport a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Cherokee for a 1A Area 16 battle on Thursday, March 23. Waterloo will meet a Indians squad coming off a 14-5 league win over Covenant Christian (Tuscumbia, AL). The Indians record now stands at 11-8.
