Spectators at Monday's non-league battle between the Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks (Lincoln, NE) and the visiting Columbus Discoverers (Columbus, NE), saw Lincoln Southwest's baseball squad knock off Columbus by a count of 9-5.

Coming up next, the Silver Hawks play the Millard South Patriots (Omaha, NE) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 19. Lincoln Southwest will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Patriots enter the battle with a 2-1 record after their 20-3 non-league win over Omaha North (Omaha, NE).

The Discoverers now possess a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Skutt Catholic for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 19. Columbus will play a SkyHawks squad coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Blair (Blair, NE). The SkyHawks record now stands at 4-0.
