The Sandia Matadors baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Rio Grande Ravens to 2 in the Matadors non-league victory on Monday.
The Matadors (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM). The Rams go into the non-league match with a 6-0 record. In their last match, Rio Rancho edged Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM), 8-1, in a non-league match.
The Ravens (2-1) will now prepare for their match against La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM). The Bears go into the non-league match with a 2-1 record.
