The Laney Buccaneers lacrosse team scored 14 points and limited the host New Hanover Wildcats to 1 in the Buccaneers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Buccaneers (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Topsail (Hampstead, NC). The Pirates enter the non-league game with a 1-1 record.
The Wildcats (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Hoggard (Wilmington, NC). The Vikings enter the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Hoggard was overwhelmed by Ashley (Wilmington, NC), 7-5, in a non-league game.
