The Cesar Chavez Champions softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host San Luis Sidewinders to 9 in the Champions non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Cesar Chavez improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Champions travel to Tolleson (Tolleson, AZ) to clash with the Wolverines in a game on Tuesday, April 2. The Wolverines come into the game with a record of 2-2.

In their next game, the Sidewinders clash with the Valley Vista Monsoon (Surprise, AZ) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 21. San Luis will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record.
