East Union Lancers (Manteca, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Hughson Huskies (Hughson, CA), 8-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Lancers now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sierra for a challenge on Thursday, March 21. East Union will battle a Timberwolves squad coming off a 30-2 non-league win over Lathrop (Lathrop, CA). The Timberwolves record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Hughson falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Riverbank (Riverbank, CA) to battle the Bruins in a challenge on Wednesday, April 10. The Bruins enter the challenge with a record of 2-6.
