Maeser Prep Academy Lions (Lindon, UT) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Freedom Prep Academy Eagles (Provo, UT), 9-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions confront the American Heritage Patriots (American Fork, UT) in a 2A Region 17 challenge, on Tuesday, March 19. Maeser Prep Academy will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Green Canyon (North Logan, UT).

The Eagles now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Draper APA for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 19. Freedom Prep Academy will confront a Eagles team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Rowland Hall (Salt Lake City, UT). The Eagles record now stands at 3-2.
