North Carolina High School Softball - Northern Durham loses to Apex

The Apex Cougars softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Northern Durham Knights to 2 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Apex moves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Cougars host Panther Creek (Cary, NC) to encounter the Catamounts in a Southwest Wake 4A test on Tuesday, March 19. The Catamounts enter the test with a record of 1-4. Panther Creek won 15-0 in their recent league test against Cary (Cary, NC)
The Knights (1-6) will now prepare for their test against East Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC). The Wildcats enter the DC-VI 4A test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, East Chapel Hill prevailed over Carrboro (Carrboro, NC), 24-3, in a non-league test.
