Scott County Central Braves (Sikeston, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Bloomfield Wildcats (Bloomfield, MO), 10-9 in a league challenge.

The Braves now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cooter for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 20.

With the loss, Bloomfield falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Dexter (Dexter, MO) to battle the Bearcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 19. The Bearcats enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
