Columbia Academy Bulldogs (Columbia, TN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Dickson County Cougars (Dickson, TN), 10-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Battle Ground Academy for a D II-A Middle 3 challenge on Tuesday, March 19. Columbia Academy will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 16-1 non-league win over Lawson (Nashville, TN). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Dickson County falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Northwest (Clarksville, TN) to face the Vikings in a 4A District 13 challenge on Tuesday, March 19. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 0-2. Northwest lost 14-2 in their recent league challenge against Dickson County (Dickson, TN)
