Illinois High School Softball - Metro-East Lutheran bounces Dupo

March 18, 2024: Edwardsville, IL 62025

Metro-East Lutheran Knights (Edwardsville, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Dupo Tigers (Dupo, IL), 7-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Knights now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Father McGivney Catholic for a Gateway Metro challenge on Tuesday, March 19.

With the loss, Dupo falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Staunton (Staunton, IL) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 20. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 3-0.
