The Jones Trojans softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Eastern Christian HomeSchool Trailblazers to 6 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Jones moves its record to 3-3 on the year. The Trojans travel to Pamlico County (Bayboro, NC) to play the Hurricanes in a Coastal Plains 1A/2A game on Tuesday, March 19. The Hurricanes come into the game with a record of 5-1. Pamlico County won 12-0 in their recent non-league game against White Oak (Jacksonville, NC)

In their next game, the Trailblazers play the Cape Hatteras Hurricanes (Buxton, NC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 19. Eastern Christian HomeSchool will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Hurricanes come into the game with a 1-2 record after their 16-4 non-league win over Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC).
