The Sonora Wildcats softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Escalon Cougars to 2 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Sonora improves its record to 6-4 on the year. The Wildcats host Hughson (Hughson, CA) to clash with the Huskies in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 19. The Huskies come into the game with a record of 5-4. Hughson lost 7-3 in their recent non-league game against East Union (Manteca, CA)

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Calaveras Red Hawks (San Andreas, CA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 19. Escalon will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Red Hawks come into the game with a 4-3 record after their 12-4 non-league win over East Union (Manteca, CA).
