In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Haughton Buccaneers softball squad scored a good 18-4 win over the Northwood Falcons.

The Buccaneers now sport a 11-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Benton for a 5A District 1 match on Tuesday, March 19. Haughton will face a Tigers squad coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to D'Arbonne Woods (Farmerville, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 11-7.

With the loss, Northwood falls to 6-9 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Minden (Minden, LA) to face the Crimson Tide in a 4A District 1 match on Tuesday, March 19. The Crimson Tide enter the match with a record of 8-11. Minden won 12-1 in their recent non-league match against North Webster (Springhill, LA)
