Holton-Arms (Bethesda, MD) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Jackson-Reed Tigers (Washington, DC), 18-3 in a non-league challenge.
The now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Maret for a challenge on Thursday, April 4.
With the loss, Jackson-Reed falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Roosevelt (Washington, DC) to battle the Roughriders in a challenge on Tuesday, March 19. The Roughriders enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
