Louisiana High School Softball - Riverdale bounces South Plaquemines

The Riverdale Rebels routed the visiting South Plaquemines Hurricanes softball squad by a final score of 15-2 in Monday's non-league battle.
The Rebels (11-4) will now prepare for their battle against De La Salle (New Orleans, LA). The Cavalier go into the 4A District 9 battle with a 4-7 record. In their last battle, De La Salle topped Holden (Holden, LA), 11-8, in a non-league battle.
The Hurricanes now possess a 2-8 record. They play next when they host Jefferson RISE Charter for a 2A District 9 battle on Tuesday, March 19.
