The Abingdon Falcons (Abingdon, VA) baseball trounced the visiting Virginia High Bearcats (Bristol, VA), 6-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Falcons now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Lebanon for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 21. Abingdon will clash with a Pioneers team coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to Tennessee (Bristol, TN). The Pioneers record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Virginia High drops to 0-1 on the year. The Bearcats travel to Patrick Henry (Glade Spring, VA) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 1. The Rebels go into the challenge with a record of 1-1.
