Illinois High School Baseball - Arcola defeats Salt Fork

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Arcola Purple Riders (Arcola, IL) and the visiting Salt Fork Storm (Sidell, IL), saw Arcola's baseball team gain a win over Salt Fork by a tally of 6-1.

The Purple Riders (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Oakwood (Fithian, IL). The Comets enter the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Oakwood held off Villa Grove (Villa Grove, IL), 3-2, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Storm face the Georgetown-Ridge Farm Buffaloes (Georgetown, IL) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 21. Salt Fork will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
