The Geneva County Bulldogs baseball squad (Hartford, AL), was overwhelmed 6-0 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the visiting Ariton Purple Cats (Ariton, AL)

With the triumph, Ariton moves its record to 16-4 on the season. The Purple Cats host Abbeville (Abbeville, AL) to confront the Yellowjackets in a 2A Area 4 contest on Thursday, March 20. The Yellowjackets come into the contest with a record of 0-6. Abbeville lost 16-1 in their recent non-league contest against Houston County (Columbia, AL)

The Bulldogs now possess a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Malone for a non-league contest on Friday, March 28.
