The Rochester Rams baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Beaver Falls Tigers to 8 in the Rams non-league win on Tuesday.

The Rams now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Western Beaver for a WPIAL 1A 2 test on Monday, March 24. Rochester will play a Golden Beavers team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Avella (Avella, PA). The Golden Beavers record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, Beaver Falls drops to 0-2 on the year. The Tigers host Northgate (Pittsburgh, PA) to play the Flames in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 19. The Flames go into the test with a record of 0-2. Northgate lost 13-3 in their recent non-league test against Carlynton (Carnegie, PA)
