The Catholic Bears (Baton Rouge, LA) baseball trounced the visiting Pitkin Tigers (Pitkin, LA), 12-2 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Bears now own a 17-3 record. They take the field next when they host Belen Jesuit for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 20. Catholic will clash with a Wolverines team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Miami Springs (Miami Springs, FL). The Wolverines record now stands at 8-7.
With the defeat, Pitkin drops to 6-5 on the year. The Tigers host Quitman (Quitman, LA) to clash with the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 21. The Wolverines go into the challenge with a record of 10-10. Quitman won 11-1 in their recent league challenge against Castor (Castor, LA)
