The Cedar Ridge Timberwolves triumphed over the host Rector Cougars baseball squad by a score of 16-1 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
Next up, the Timberwolves battle the Izard County Cougars (Brockwell, AR) in a 2A Region 2 outing, on Thursday, March 20. Cedar Ridge will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Cougars come into the outing with a 2-0 record after their 19-0 league win over Mammoth Spring (Mammoth Spring, AR).
The Cougars (1-3) will now prepare for their outing against East Poinsett County (Lepanto, AR). The Warriors come into the 2A Region 3 outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, East Poinsett County was overwhelmed by Cross County (Cherry Valley, AR), 11-1, in a league outing.
