The Checotah Wildcats baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Coalgate Wildcats to 2 in the Wildcats non-league win on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now own a 3-11 record. They take the field next when they host Lindsay for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 19. Checotah will clash with a Leopards team coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Wister (Wister, OK). The Leopards record now stands at 2-5.

With the defeat, Coalgate drops to 4-7 on the year. The Wildcats host Thomas-Fay-Custer (Thomas, OK) to clash with the Terriers in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 19. The Terriers go into the test with a record of 2-2. Thomas-Fay-Custer won 5-4 in their recent non-league test against Ardmore (Ardmore, OK)
