The Coeur d'Alene Vikings baseball team scored 15 runs and held the host Ridgeline Falcons to 0 in the Vikings non-league win on Tuesday.
The Vikings now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Lakeland for a 4A Inland Empire test on Saturday, March 22. Coeur d'Alene will play a Hawks team coming off a 4-3 league loss to Lewiston (Lewiston, ID). The Hawks record now stands at 0-4.
With the defeat, Ridgeline drops to 0-3 on the year. The Falcons host Central Valley (Spokane Valley, WA) to play the Bears in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane test on Monday, April 7. The Bears go into the test with a record of 1-1.
