The Converse Wildcats (Converse, LA) baseball trounced the visiting Plain Dealing Lions (Plain Dealing, LA), 16-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 9-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holden for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 22. Converse will clash with a Rockets team coming off a 16-0 league win over Mt. Hermon (Mt. Hermon, LA). The Rockets record now stands at 11-5.
With the defeat, Plain Dealing drops to 2-7 on the year. The Lions travel to Arcadia (Arcadia, LA) to clash with the Hornets in a 1A District 1 challenge on Friday, March 21. The Hornets go into the challenge with a record of 0-2.
