The Sallisaw Black Diamonds baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Coweta Tigers to 2 in the Black Diamonds non-league win on Tuesday.
The Black Diamonds now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Valliant for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 19. Sallisaw will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 8-3 non-league win over Perry (Perry, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-1.
With the defeat, Coweta drops to 7-6 on the year. The Tigers host Hartshorne (Hartshorne, OK) to clash with the Miners in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 19. The Miners go into the test with a record of 1-2. Hartshorne lost 11-3 in their recent non-league test against Kingston (Kingston, OK)
